The Monster Fish - Animated Storybook and Game app for iPhone and iPad

The Story: The Wenders family are on a summer camping vacation in a beautiful national park where they experience a truly weird and wonderful adventure while on a fishing trip.

Features: Your child can read this app alone or choose the "Read to Me" option for an engaging narration that will captivate and entertain through 22 pages of ‘frozen-in-time’ animations. An educational Find the Animals game is also included

What is ‘frozen-in-time’ animation?: It’s a little hard to describe (but a delight to see) but think of physically standing in an outdoor scene and swaying your body and head around (slightly). When you do this you will experience a sense of a truly 3-dimensional environment. This is a quite different experience from viewing a static picture or photo. We’re sure you’ll agree that it’s an immersive effect that pulls the viewer right into the storybook!

Bonus Educational Game: This search-and-learn game features 10 animals from the storybook. By ‘finding’ the animals the viewer then sees a popup sign that displays three fun facts about each animal. A simple tap on the sign will play the narrator’s reading of facts about each animal. After the game is completed a surprise animation page appears.

Surprise Animation? Simply touch and hold your finger on the icon and a dragonfly will land on your finger. But be warned though, the Monster Fish loves to eat dragonflies!
